Civil structures managed by the Hollands Noorderkwartier higher water board are in a poor state of repair. Regular and/or corrective maintenance work is now planned to clear this maintenance backlog within a time span of only a few years and get the civil structures back to the required basic level of repair by 2017. To be able to perform this maintenance work, maintenance specifications are needed.
Antea Group has compiled a maintenance plan based on a measurement of the structures' current state of maintenance as per the NEN 2767-4 standard and a structural, electrical engineering, and mechanical inspection. This maintenance plan was made using a risk-based approach and a RAMS analysis of a section of the civil structures.
The Hollands Noorderkwartier higher water board now has accurate information on the work needed and associated costs for the period 2014-2017. The maintenance plan makes maximum use of standard measures to facilitate its conversion, if necessary, into a maintenance contract.
