Heerenveen, July 9, 2014. Antea Group published its first public annual report on July 9. The international consultancy and engineering firm was still operating under the Oranjewoud name in the Netherlands up to December 31, 2013. The annual report shows that the five country organizations within the group had a stable year, making progress in international collaboration and posting revenue of 375 million euros overall. Antea Group's profits had even increased slightly compared to 2012.
2013 was a dynamic year for the engineering sector, especially given the rapid changes on the market and in society, and the tight margins. Despite that, Antea Group's Dutch branch, previously known as Oranjewoud Consultancy and Engineering Firm, was able to take the step of linking up its trusted values with the group's name. Letting go of the well-established Oranjewoud name was a daring move, but a well-considered one with potential for the future.
